We all have those relatives. You know the ones; they make the holidays a living hell. This holiday season, we will find out what all that “yule tide” negativity may ultimately bring to our stocking: the “shadow” of our beloved Saint Nick…Krampus.

It looks like the typical gathering of a family of 12 around the table, with Dad obviously needing a stiff drink (or two) to deal with his overbearing brother-in-law. The fighting and backhanded passive aggressive attacks honestly is reminiscent of several close December family encounters.

Yet, deep-down, we know there is a limit, a line that should never be crossed when Santa is on his way. Only for a family so driven by disdain, where the spirit of the season is gone, there is only one real solution (and it’s not coal in their stocking), no it’s a cut-off, hope lost encounter with the one and only Father anti-Xmas.

This one arrives in theaters December 4.  Let us know what you think, but of all the horror movies coming up in the next several months, I think I’ll leave cookies out for this one 🙂
