A creepy doll, an isolated mansion, and a warning that goes ignored set the stage for Baptiste, an upcoming psychological survival horror game from Firenut Games and Digital Dreams. A new gameplay trailer offers a look at the supernatural nightmare arriving later in 2026.
Baptiste follows Sara and her son, Tom, as they move to Jagged Shore Cliff following a family tragedy. Inside their new home, Tom discovers a mysterious doll named Baptiste locked in a cabinet alongside a warning: “Never release this from its glass prison.” Tom does exactly that, plunging him into a nightmare where reality and psychological trauma begin to overlap.
Players will explore the mansion, solve puzzles, gather clues, and uncover the history behind Baptiste while experiencing events largely through Tom’s perspective. The developers cite Night of the Living Dummy, allegedly possessed dolls such as Annabelle, and games including P.T., Layers of Fear, and the Outlast series as inspirations.
Rather than relying primarily on jump scares, Baptiste focuses on atmospheric tension and themes of tragedy, loss, and a child’s attempts to cope with traumatic events.
Baptiste launches later in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and is available to wishlist now.
