Miracle Media and Shogun Films are releasing HARBINGER, a new British occult horror film built around a genuinely menacing new genre icon: a sinister fortune-telling machine possessed by the soul of a satanic serial killer. The film hits US digital platforms on August 11, 2026.

Five years after surviving a brutal ordeal at the hands of satanic serial killer Henry Decker (Peter Woodward, Babylon 5), Julia (Jeanine Nerissa Sothcott, Helloween) is still struggling with PTSD and terrifying visions of her tormentor. Living back with her mother (Carole Ann Ford, Doctor Who), she has all but put her life on hold — until paranormal TV presenter Mike Craggs (Gary Webster, Minder) makes her an offer to revisit the house where it all happened. Julia reluctantly agrees to join Craggs and his crew of ghost hunters, psychics, and occult experts for a televised investigation of the site. But the house still harbors its darkest secret: the Harbinger, a vintage fortune-telling machine that carries the imprisoned soul of Decker himself.
What follows is a body-count thriller with old-school occult horror sensibilities. The Harbinger can predict — and deliver — the grisly fate awaiting each person who consults it, and Decker’s soul needs six victims to reconstitute himself and walk the earth again. As escape becomes impossible and the deaths mount, Julia must find a way to stop the machine and the monster inside it. The cast also includes Tony Sands (Moondial), Johnny Palmiero (We Still Kill the Old Way), and Nick Nevern (Rise of the Footsoldier). Peter Woodward is the son of Edward Woodward, star of the original The Wicker Man.
Described by its publicist as a nod to Wishmaster and classic British horror, HARBINGER brings old-school practical scares and a wicked carnival-attraction concept to digital this summer.
HARBINGER arrives on US digital on August 11, 2026, and in the UK on August 10 from Miracle Media.
