Fans of The Rocky Horror Show will soon have a reason to do the Time Warp again. Bit Bot Media has announced Bride of Rocky Horror, an officially licensed graphic novel that continues the story of Janet Weiss and Brad Majors seven years after the events of Richard O’Brien’s iconic stage musical.See the Kickstarter HERE.

Written by GLAAD Media and Eisner Award-nominated Magdalene Visaggio (Girlmode), with artwork by Noemi Vettori (X-Men Unlimited) and a cover by Bram Stoker Award winner Soo Lee (Carmilla), the 95-page, full-color graphic novel reimagines the world of Rocky Horror in vivid new ways. The project will launch later this year on Kickstarter, where fans can sign up on the prelaunch page for updates.

In Bride of Rocky Horror, Janet Weiss has fully embraced a life of indulgence and liberation—until a mysterious invitation reunites her with ex-fiancé Brad Majors. Their unexpected encounter draws them into the orbit of the enigmatic Bridget Von Frankenstein, unearthing new secrets and sparking questions about identity, transformation, and desire.

The creative team aims to honor O’Brien’s original vision while expanding the narrative. “Rocky Horror was the safest queer art I had access to growing up,” said Visaggio. “To explore what happens after that fateful night was a dream come true.”

Artist Noemi Vettori adds, “I wanted to channel the chaos, passion, and rebellion that defines Rocky Horror while staying true to its beloved characters.”

The Bride of Rocky Horror Kickstarter campaign will include a collector’s hardcover edition and a range of exclusive items:

  • Four interconnecting prints by Soo Lee
  • Plush figures of Frank-N-Furter and Rocky
  • The Rocky Horror Show 8-bit video game and soundtrack (featuring “Time Warp” chiptune on vinyl)
  • Limited-edition 8-bit themed figures

Co-published by musician Klayton (Celldweller, Malignant, Transformers) and author Joshua Viola (True Believers), Bit Bot Media aims to expand the cult classic’s reach across comics, games, and music.
