The official trailer for the upcoming horror podcast Liminal has been released, offering a first listen at the latest entry in the VoidVerse Podcast Multiverse. Directed and co-written by Josie Eli Herman (The Call of the Void), Liminal explores cerebral horror through the story of two brothers attempting to rescue their youngest sibling from a dangerous dreamscape.

The series is co-written by Michael Alan Herman (James Franco’s The Mad Whale) and Josie Eli Herman. Together, they draw inspiration from liminal spaces—those in-between environments that feel simultaneously familiar and unsettling. Their vision builds on the VoidVerse, which has already surpassed 1.6 million global downloads.

“Liminal spaces feel both comforting and deeply unsettling at the same time, and we set out to make a show that conveys that feeling,” Michael Alan Herman explained.

The podcast features performances from Isaac Jay (Head Count, Lessons in Chemistry), Daniel Santillana (Silvertongues), and Jeannine Thompson (Star Trek: Horizon). According to director Josie Eli Herman, the cast’s performances rank among the best featured in the VoidVerse to date.

Liminal blends horror, sci-fi, and mystery while focusing on character-driven storytelling. The podcast trailer is now available, offering an early glimpse into this evolving universe of audio horror.
