Adapted from the video game created by Kotake Create, Exit 8 follows a man trapped in a looping subway passage who must search for a way out through a mysterious location known only as Exit 8.
The story centers on a repeating corridor where subtle irregularities may hold the key to escape. The man’s journey is governed by a strict set of rules: carefully observe every detail, turn back immediately if an anomaly is discovered, and continue forward only when nothing appears out of place. A single mistake sends him back to the beginning of the passage.
As the cycle continues, the search for Exit 8 becomes a test of observation and endurance. The film explores the tension created by repetition and the challenge of identifying what is real and what has changed within an environment that rarely appears to shift.
Exit 8 arrives in theaters April 10 from NEON.
