New from ComiXology Originals and Archie Comics, it’s Josie and the Pussycats in Space! The new graphic novel is available now on ComiXology, written by Alex de Campi (Archie Vs Predator) and featuring art by Devaki Neogi (Curbstomp). Interestingly, this one sounds like it features a cosmic horror angle, which is more than welcome from the creator of Archie Vs Predator.

From ComiXology: The famous musical group Josie and the Pussycats are the hottest band on tour with the USO. But with fame and fortune comes turmoil as internal conflicts are threatening to tear the group apart. But that’s nothing compared to the alien horrors Josie, Valerie, and Melody are about to encounter as they find themselves adrift in the vastness of outer space! Even if the Pussycats manage to stick together as a band, will they be able to survive the horrors that await them in the final frontier?

If you’re a member of ComiXology Unlimited, Kindle Unlimited, or Prime Reading you’ll be able to check out the book for free, but it’s still available for purchase through those services if you aren’t a member.  It’s neat to see the ComiXology platform pushing out more original content, and if you’d like to stay up to date on what they have to offer you can find out more at http://comixologyoriginals.com. In the meantime, check out these sample pages of Josie and the Pussycats in Space!
